Little Luckford is an Annex to Hilltop. The annex was added in 2015 to the main house, Hilltop, which was built in 2002. The grounds in total are just over 5 acres set in a quiet lane between Wareham and Wool. The annex is two bedroom, two bathroom house with a large kitchen living area with W.C. off to one side and a separate dining area. The annex also has a separate garage along with private parking. The garage houses a washing machine and dryer. A patio attached to the annex has it’s own private garden surrounded by mature Oak Trees. There is an option to add a third double bedroom which is part of the main house, accessible through one of the bedrooms, giving guests the option to accommodate 6 guests. The annex has heating and hot water through an air source heat pump. In the winter a log burner will add extra comfort.

The location makes it ideal for exploring by car, bike or walking with many outstanding sites to visit ( see “Attractions”). However if you prefer to explore the immediate vicinity there are walks from the house to Wool, Old Shags and even to Lulworth if you feel adventurous. The walks are predominantly woodland walks for the first few miles from the house but on level ground. Bring wellies! It can be wet in winter. There are walks down to the River Frome and in the summer there is generally paddling to be done at several points. ( But if its paddling you want – take the kids to the Frome wide and shallow upstream at Morton – site of Lawrence of Arabia’s burial ! )
